  • 01Base asphalt uses PG 62-22 asphalt (improved to PG 76-22 by using Zero-M)
  • 02Asphalt mixture production temperature of Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt is 110±10°C, which is reduced by more than 40~60°C compared to existing asphalt.
  • 03Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt exceeds the quality standard of modified asphalt by Ministry of Land, infrastructure and Transport of Korea

▣ Construction Properties

  • 01Application of the same construction equipment and construction method as for general asphalt pavement
  • 02The paving temperature of the asphalt mixture is 110±10°C and the compaction temperature(macadam) is 100±10°C
  • 03Opening to traffic is carried out when the surface temperature is below 40℃

▣ Traffic Opening Time(based on 40℃)

  • 01Hot mix asphalt : (When producing 165℃ asphalt mixture) average 7 hours and 30 minutes
  • 02Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt : ( When producing 110±10℃ asphalt mixture) average 5 hours and 30 minute
