▣ Dynamic stablilty

  • Significantly improved dynamic stability compared to existing warm mix asphalt mixtures
  • In the case of a existing warm mix asphalt, dynamic stability is 1,000 to 1,500 times/mm
  • In case of Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt is in the range of 3,000 to 6,000 times/mm
  • The dynamic stability of Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt greatly exceeds the quality standards of modified asphalt by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea.
  • After the dynamic stability test of Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt, the final deformation amount is less than 2mm, and the plastic deformation resistance is excellent.

▣ Tensile Strength Ratio

  • Tensile strength ratio tests is conducted to evaluate the moisture resistance of Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt.
  • Due to the characteristics of warm mix asphalt, a high level of moisture resistance is required.
  • Compared to the tensile strength ratio(0.8) of the existing warm mix asphalt mixture, Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt is 0.85 or more
  • Considering the tensile strength ratio characteristics of Polymer Cool Mix Asphalt, it has excellent resistance to moisture and is effective in improving commonability.
